Many creative people have a desire to give back somehow but don't know where to begin or how to harness their goodwill effectively. I Heart Art: Portland co-chair Isaac Watson outlines four steps to effectively contribute your time, experience and education to those in need.
What You Get
Each salon lasts 90 minutes to two hours and is hosted at a local restaurant or bar. Madison's Grill is generously sponsoring the event by offering appetizers and providing a cash bar for the evening.
About our Salon Discussions
Our evening salon discussions allow us to hold informative community conversations on topics that wouldn’t be suitable for a workshop setting. Hosted at a variety of locations, the host of each discussion is an expert or leading thinker on the given topic. Discussions are be shaped around four to five open-ended statements and encourage the open, positive and egalitarian exchange of ideas.
